PC Platform
• 200 MHz or faster Intel Pentium MMX processor or equivalent with CD • Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME (or Final Release version), Windows NT (with Service Pack 4), or Windows 2000 • 56Kbps or faster modem
MAC Platform
• PowerPC G3 processor (233 MHz or faster) with CD • Mac OS 8.5 or later • 128 MB RAM (256 MB recommended) and 128 MB virtual memory • 56Kbps or faster modem
• Internet connection and Web browser such as Internet Explorer 7 or later or Netscape Navagator 9 with Java support. Firefox .3.5.
1. You should know how to start and log on to your computer, you should know how to use the internet in a safe and proper way.

Computer Programs Needed For Each Unit
1. Access to a sizing computer program such as Infanview or other computer art program to reduce drawing images to 1 meg for uploading on the EHS server for grading purposes.
2. You need the most current program of Adode Acrobat Reader. Type in a search for Acobat Reader into your internet browser. As of this date of publication it is a free program that you can download directly to your computer.
3. Create an art folder to either a floppy disk or to your computers desk top that will hold your EHS Art Two documents. (To add an art folder to desk top, click on the right side of the mouse, while the curser is on an empty area of your desk top. You will receive a drop down box that will allow you to create an art folder).
4. Be sure that you have anti-virus software loaded and enabled on each of the computers that you will be working on for this course. If you need information on software, type in anit-virus software into your browser and find one that works for your purposess
5. If you are planning to submit your drawings assignments to the instructor as an attachment to the teachers email, make sure you know how to take a digital picture or scans the document into a high resolution formate.Go back
Prior Knowledge and Skill Assessment
It is not nesseccary to have taken any art class before this one but, if you feel overwhelmed, please talk with the teacher or a school counslor about other art credit options.
